Artist or Collection Biography: | Lulu DK is the personal vision of Lulu Dekwiatkowski, a New York City native who studied fine art and interior design at Parsons School of Design, and trompe l’oeil in Paris. Her childhood was one of vibrant colors, exuberant prints, and a stylish, adventurous mother who continues to serve as Lulu’s main source of inspiration. Beginning her career painting custom walls with florals or colorful geometrics, she then translated these ideas into fabrics and wallpapers, and since then has continued to expand into partnerships for bedding, jewelry, clothing, and home décor. Although the company has grown and evolved, its mission has always remained clear: “Through the creation of original art, I am to inspire a liberated and colorful life.” |
